展覽House of wonders 透過作品，呈現作者對於香港與英國的印象或有關回憶片段, 將兩地隨處可見的植物,圖形,建築等設計美學應用於日常生活器物之上。讓平凡如日常的事物成為奇妙的器物。
作者期待展覽能帶給觀者以陶瓷點綴生活空間的想像, 喚起觀者以更多不一樣的角度看待生活日常。
The exhibition depicts the artist’s memories of HK & UK. Inspired by plants, patterns or architecture from these two locations, the artist integrated those sparks into her creations, hoping to unlock the imaginations of the audience as well as evoking a different perspective on everyday life.
◖ A B O U T T H E A R T I S T◗
廖秋樺自2015年開始接觸陶藝，先後於本地及海外陶藝工作室任職工作室助理。回港後，現於無用生活工作室任職陶藝導師。
她的作品主要以陶或瓷土原有的質感呈現純粹的感覺, 透過圖形, 線條形態展現設計感。
她在2021年成立個人原創品牌迷陶, 致力以陶瓷探索各種生活的可能性，揉合實用與美學的追求，為生活添上温暖的感覺。
Wa has been working as a studio assistant in local and overseas ceramic studios since 2015. She is now working as an instructor at Useless Studio.
Her works are mainly focusing on presenting the original texture of clay. She uses shapes, lines and forms to create a sense of purity and simplicity.
Lost in Clay, a brand Wa founded in 2021, is dedicated to explore the possibilities of life through ceramics, combining functional and aesthetic pursuits to warm everyday life.
